Is OA2Y the same as JCR Impact Factor?
No. OA2Y is an OpenAlex-based 2-year mean citedness metric. It is not the official Journal Impact Factor from Journal Citation Reports.
Does this extension provide JCR data?
No. PubMed Smart Metrics does not provide JCR data or official Impact Factor values. It uses OpenAlex open citation data.
Where does the data come from?
Metrics are based on OpenAlex data. The extension may use a server-side cache to improve speed and reduce repeated API requests.
Is this a subscription?
No. Lifetime Pro is a one-time payment product. There is no recurring subscription.
How do I activate Pro features?
